BingX Lower-Level Partner: Existing Referrer and Upgrade Issues

Understand BingX lower-level partner upgrades, common referral-network errors and when an existing account requires BD assistance.

An existing BingX user cannot always become a lower-level partner simply by clicking a fresh invite link. What matters is the current referral relationship, the commission adjustment rules and whether your BD can approve a different arrangement. BingX provides a specific lower-level partner FAQ for these situations.

Scenario A: The user is your direct referee

BingX’s published workflow allows a qualifying upper-level partner to adjust the commission ratio for a direct referral within Partner Hub. The official FAQ describes entering the user’s UID under Partner Management → Adjust Partner’s Commission Ratio and setting a ratio above the stated threshold. It also says the adjusted ratio must remain below the upper-level partner’s current ratio, and that this control can increase, not decrease, the allocation.

That describes the exchange’s documented management workflow—not an invitation to share UIDs publicly or to treat every trader as eligible. Any account-specific action should happen through an authorized BingX partner or BD.

Scenario B: The user is not under your referral network

BingX says partners should contact their Business Development representative to review this case. There is no universal promise of a reassignment, transfer or new partner tier. An applicant should not assume that creating a second account or joining through a different URL solves the eligibility problem.

Scenario C: The dashboard returns an existing-referrer error

One official error is “The user is neither your direct nor indirect referee.” BingX says this can indicate the user already belongs to another partner’s referral network. The recommended next step is BD assistance. Do not attempt workarounds intended to bypass an existing referral relationship.

A safe troubleshooting checklist

  • Confirm the account status: normal trader, direct referral, indirect referral, or already an approved partner.
  • Locate the exact error wording and the official screen where it appears.
  • Ask your authorized BD whether an upgrade, linking review or other approved procedure exists.
  • Request the complete net commission formula and excluded trade types before accepting an adjustment.
  • Keep private account details in approved exchange support channels rather than public forms or Telegram groups.

Questions to clarify with BD

Will adjusting a ratio change my existing referred traders? The effect depends on the exchange’s applied rules and the specific change. Obtain an account-level answer instead of assuming retroactive eligibility.

Can a lower-level partner receive the same rate as the upper-level partner? BingX’s documented adjustment process requires the resulting ratio to remain lower than the partner’s current ratio. Private arrangements may have additional rules; ask for your confirmed terms.

Is the ratio shown in Partner Hub my take-home payout? Not necessarily. Separate the displayed tier, fee base, rebates and any other contractual allocation.
