MEXC Affiliate Application: Requirements and Preparation Checklist
Who can apply for MEXC affiliate status, what to prepare for review and why approval is different from a sub-affiliate link.
Creators and publishers often ask whether they need a large audience before applying to the MEXC Affiliate Program. The public program guidance describes several types of eligible applicants; the final decision still belongs to MEXC. The most useful preparation is evidence of a real audience, transparent promotion methods and a clear understanding of how referrals work.
Who the public program is designed for
MEXC’s program document names content creators, crypto community leaders, influencers, media properties, crypto-related websites and marketing organizations. Its public description mentions a 500-follower reference for content creators. This should not be presented as a universal promise that everyone above a number will be approved—or that all publisher categories must meet exactly the same threshold.
Prepare a clean partner profile
Before applying, gather:
- Identity of the publishing property: its public website, channel or social account URLs.
- Audience description: countries, language, channel topic and whether the audience is actually interested in exchange trading.
- Promotion workflow: examples of education, disclosures and how you intend to introduce a program without promising trading returns.
- Performance context: real historical engagement or referral performance if you can document it; no invented volume or fabricated partner screenshots.
- Contact route: information required by the official application process, entered on the exchange’s own portal.
Never send exchange credentials, passwords or private API keys to a third-party recruiter as proof of eligibility.
How MEXC says to apply
MEXC documents several entry routes, including its homepage menu, Futures section, Referral area and official Affiliate Portal. On the portal, applicants follow the affiliate activation procedure and submit the requested details. The exchange then reviews the submission. Public guidance contains review-time estimates that differ across help documents, so treat any estimate as indicative rather than a deadline.
Application approval is not sub-affiliate linking
This distinction is important if you are considering a lower-level partner arrangement. MEXC says that active affiliate status alone does not automatically create a sub-affiliate relationship. A valid underlying referral link and an approved linking request are also required. Read our MEXC linking guide before registering if your objective is a sub-affiliate partnership.
What should you verify before publishing links?
Check the eligible trading products, commission base, trader-rebate rules, geographic restrictions, advertising rules and account-specific tier. Public marketing pages can describe upper limits, but your individual allocation is determined by the applicable terms. Do not treat a headline percentage as an assured payout.
MEXC’s documented responsibilities include supporting exchange promotions, bringing relevant users and protecting the brand. Your content should be original, accurately sourced and clear about the risks of trading. MEXC also warns against misleading advertising and impersonation.
A safer application checklist
- I use my real website or channel, not a simulated audience.
- I can explain my users’ countries and language without targeting restricted markets.
- I understand the difference between a referral account, affiliate status and sub-affiliate linking.
- I have not promised traders returns, no-loss rewards or permanent rates.
- I will confirm final terms before advertising any private offer.
