How to Evaluate a Crypto Sub-Affiliate Offer Before Joining
Use a practical due-diligence checklist to compare crypto partner offers, commission bases, account restrictions, rebates and payout evidence.
A partnership proposal can contain an attractive percentage yet omit the information needed to decide whether it is worthwhile. A proper comparison looks at eligibility, eligible trading activity, settlement, service and your existing account relationships. The goal is to compare verifiable terms, not to predict future earnings.
Start with the source of the offer
There are at least three layers of information: the exchange’s public affiliate policy, a partner’s account-specific agreement, and the terms actually displayed after activation. A site describing a private tier cannot, by itself, prove that every applicant will receive it. Ask who signs off, whether the rate is temporary and where you will verify the result in your account.
If the arrangement goes through an upper-level partner, establish whether the percentage shown is a displayed level, a net payable rate, or a share before retention. They are not synonymous. Our BingX commission breakdown explains why displayed and effective rates need separate labels.
The seven checks that matter
1. Account and referrer eligibility
Are you a new user, an existing trader, an active affiliate or someone already linked to another network? Some relationships cannot be changed using a new link. Never open duplicate accounts or attempt to bypass an exchange rule. Obtain confirmation first.
2. Fee base, including exceptions
Does the agreement cover spot and futures? Are fee-free pairs, bonus-funded fees or API-generated activity excluded? Do rebates reduce the eligible base? Request an example statement using eligible fees, not gross volume.
3. Displayed percentage versus effective payout
Ask to see the calculation from eligible fees to money actually credited, using a genuine exchange statement and the approved allocation. Confirm how exclusions, discounts, rebates and account-specific rules affect that calculation. Do not multiply a headline partner rate by the trader’s notional volume.
4. Timing and reconciliation
Find the source of settlement records, the currency, adjustments or clawbacks, and the process for resolving discrepancies. A dashboard screenshot without a date, definition or source is weak evidence.
5. Support and operational responsibilities
A partner promising onboarding support should specify what is handled by a human and what belongs to the exchange. Neither your network nor a content creator should hold customer funds or request account passwords or API secrets as part of routine affiliate onboarding.
6. Permitted audiences and marketing
Check restricted countries, advertising policies, mandatory disclosures and local rules. Never assume a global exchange program authorizes advertising in every jurisdiction. Avoid performance promises, invented trading outcomes or unsupported payout claims.
7. Exit and continuity
Ask whether a lower-level link can be removed, reassigned or terminated; what happens to existing referred users; and how disputes are escalated. Do not promise that moving an existing affiliate account is always possible.
A reusable decision sheet
Record the program, BD contact, review date, eligible trading products, excluded fee types, net payout formula, settlement location, permitted markets and open questions. Mark every item confirmed, pending, or not applicable. If a key item is pending, the deal is not yet ready for public promotion.
For an existing MEXC account, the linking requirements deserve particular attention. For a BingX account already in another network, consult lower-level partner troubleshooting.
Sources and action
If the arrangement is relevant to your audience, request a partner review. AffiliateTier discusses account-specific terms only after verifying eligibility; nothing here is a rate or income promise.
Independent editorial information, not financial, legal or investment advice. AffiliateTier is not the official BingX or MEXC website. Exchange policies and country restrictions may change.
